Continuous building monitoring with human engineering support Buildings do not fail all at once. Problems usually start small: an HVAC device runs longer than needed, alarms increase, energy consumption rises, or equipment behavior slowly changes.
Building Supervisor 365 continuously monitors your building’s BMS, HVAC equipment, alarms, and energy consumption to detect problems early and keep building performance under control. It combines digital monitoring, fault detection and diagnostics (FDD), predictive algorithms, and human engineering supervision.
Building Supervisor 365 connects to your Building Management System (BMS) and monitors how the building’s technical systems operate. We track HVAC equipment behavior, alarm activity, energy use, and abnormal patterns. When something looks wrong, the system flags it and our engineers review the issue.
At the end of each month, the customer receives a clear report showing what happened, what was detected, what was fixed, and what should be improved next
How it works
1. Connect and collect building data
We connect Building Supervisor 365 to the existing BMS and collect live data from HVAC equipment, meters, alarms, sensors, and control points - giving the customer operational visibility without replacing the existing automation system
2. Monitor systems and detect risks
We continuously monitor equipment behaviour, alarm activity, patterns, and performance. FDD algorithms identify abnormal behaviour, potential faults, inefficiencies, and equipment at risk of failure, enabling earlier problem detection and a shift to preventive maintenance.
3. Engineer supervision and performance reporting
Our engineers review flagged issues, investigate root causes, validate alarms, and recommend actions. Each month, the customer receives a report with detected issues, actions taken, energy trends, and recommendations.
Continuous Building Supervision
Building Supervisor 365 creates a structured supervision process for HVAC and building systems - from data collection and alarm monitoring to fault detection, engineer validation, and monthly performance reporting. Instead of reacting only after problems appear, the building is continuously monitored, analyzed, and optimized to reduce operational risk.
The result is a continuously supervised building environment where technical risks are identified earlier, system performance becomes more transparent, and operational decisions are supported by real building data.
Evaluation
What Building Supervisor 365 monitors
After the audit, we compare possible improvement options and identify the most effective solution.
HVAC devices Air handling units, pumps, valves, heating/cooling systems, ventilation units, chillers, boilers, and other connected equipment.
BMS alarms Number of alarms, alarm frequency, recurring alarms, critical alarms, ignored alarms, and alarm trends.
Energy consumption Electricity, heating, cooling, gas, water, peak loads, abnormal consumption, and usage trends.
Equipment operation Runtime, start/stop cycles, schedules, setpoints, sensor values, control modes, and abnormal behavior.
Fault risks Early warning signs that equipment may be operating inefficiently, incorrectly, or close to failure.
Comfort indicators Temperature, ventilation, humidity, and other indoor climate values where data is available.
This creates a clearer and more measurable understanding of how the building operates, helping detect problems earlier, reduce unnecessary energy use, and maintain more reliable long-term system performance.
Verification
What the customer receives
Most building problems are discovered too late.
What it means to a costumer:
01
Live BMS connection
Building data is collected automatically from the existing automation system.
02
HVAC monitoring
Technical equipment is monitored continuously, not only during service visits.
03
Alarm analysis and Energy monitoring
The customer sees which alarms matter and which problems are repeating. Abnormal energy use is detected earlier.
04
FDD algorithms
The system helps detect hidden faults and predict possible equipment failures.
05
Engineer supervision
A human expert reviews the data and validates important findings.
06
Monthly report
Management receives a clear summary of issues, actions, and recommendations.
Building Supervisor 365 changes this. Instead of waiting for problems, the building is continuously monitored, analyzed, and supervised by engineers.
Results
4. Customer benefits
Every month, the customer receives a clear performance report that provides building owners and facility teams with a practical overview of technical system health, energy performance, detected issues, and recommended actions.
Reduce unexpected failures and energy waste
Detect HVAC problems
Improve comfort and stability and prioritize maintenance work
Reduce ignored alarms
Improve transparency
Make technical performance measurable
Support preventive maintenance
keep management informed with monthly reports.
The result is a more transparent, reliable, and measurable building operation with fewer unexpected issues, improved system performance, and better long-term control over energy and maintenance processes.
