Challenge
The building had limited visibility and control over HVAC operations. This caused slow response times, inefficient maintenance, high energy use, and unstable indoor comfort conditions. The goal was to reduce HVAC downtime, improve indoor climate quality, and support an energy efficiency improvement from Class D to Class C.
Solution
Intellify integrated 11 HVAC units into one centralized system. PLC automation was improved, outdated PLC controllers were replaced, and additional controllers were installed. Climate sensors were deployed across major zones. Automated alerts were configured and assigned to responsible team members. Ventilation was optimized to respond to CO₂ levels, allowing the system to adjust based on real occupancy instead of fixed schedules.
Results
HVAC downtime was significantly reduced, and service response became faster and more structured. The building gained full visibility over indoor climate conditions across key tenant zones. Energy consumption was reduced by 13% per year, equal to approximately €16,000 in annual savings.
