Challenge
The existing BMS provided limited support for modern energy optimization. The goal was to collect and analyze BMS data, identify major energy consumers, and recommend practical efficiency improvements.
Solution
Intellify installed additional energy meters and integrated BMS data into a centralized analytics environment. HVAC operating modes were adjusted based on building performance data. A self-learning algorithm was connected to control indoor climate using solar radiation, indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, and building thermal inertia.
Results
The building achieved a 12% annual reduction in heating energy consumption. The client also gained better visibility into energy performance and HVAC operation.
